The Freedom HS Science Department is working with WorldStrides to coordinate a student trip to Iceland from June 17-22, 2017. All Freedom students and their parents are invited to join this exciting trip of a lifetime. Financial aid and college credit are both available.   An informational parent meeting will be held on Thursday, April 14th from 6-6:30pm in the Drama Room.    Please contact Mrs. Waymire at WaymirMD@pwcs.edu to learn more.
Traffic Flow at Arrival & Dismissal
Freedom has had to change traffic patterns to ensure uninterrupted access to emergency vehicles at the front of the school.  Click here to see the new map of traffic flow.  This should greatly expedite student drop-off and pick-up.  Thank you for your cooperation with these changes.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT PROGRAM

High school parents and students who are entering 9th grade and trying out for a sport for their first time in high school or are new to Prince William County Public schools must attend a face to face concussion training at their respective school. Click here to view the HS training dates. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Face-to-Face Concussion Training, the parent and student have the option to complete an online presentation for the first time participant as a high school student.  Parents and students who have already attended a face-to-face training may take this year’s mandatory concussion training online.
Naviance / Family Connect

Parents and Students,  All PWC students have access to Family Connection - a comprehensive website that you and your student can use to make plans about colleges and careers. Family Connection is linked with Naviance, a service that we use in our office to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that's specific to our school. For more information please read the Naviance Information Letter (below) and visit the School Counseling Webpage/Naviance Tab. Please have your student log-in using their student # and DOB to add their e-mail to their Family Connection profile TODAY! This way they will stay connected with counseling updates! To ensure you receive updates too please e-mail your child’s counselor so they can make sure your e-mail address is a part of the profile.
